About Jack

Jack is really a storyteller, international explorer, and humanitarian and everything else rolls out from there. As a writer, its what he does.  As a trial lawyer, its his most important tool.  As a former CIA officer, the only way to truly motivate people is to connect and to tell them a story that they can feel viscerally.  As a media analyst, what better way to make a point.  In the end, he tries to captivate his audience about the world and its people as much as he himself is captivated.

[KMSP 9 Appearance] Sunday, July 17th: Jack Talks Casey Anthony

I appear on KMSP 9 in Minneapolis/St. Paul on July 17th.  Casey Anthony was released within the last 24 hours. There has already been at least one confirmed death threat.  As the police release her from custody into the media buzz saw, do the police, the media, her lawyers, anybody, have any obligations to protect her?  It seems clear that there are certainly those that want to do her harm!  And we musn't forget, a jury found her not guilty of murder and manslaughter.  If we believe in the Constitution, doesn't that mean something?

I will appear on KMSP Channel 9 to talk about what happens when a client is charged with a crime and what it does to them, their family and more.  I will also talk about the jury system, defending people in high profile cases.  Finally, I will talk about the obligations and the role that the media played in this case.
