About Jack

Jack is really a storyteller, international explorer, and humanitarian and everything else rolls out from there. As a writer, its what he does.  As a trial lawyer, its his most important tool.  As a former CIA officer, the only way to truly motivate people is to connect and to tell them a story that they can feel viscerally.  As a media analyst, what better way to make a point.  In the end, he tries to captivate his audience about the world and its people as much as he himself is captivated.

[CNBC Singapore] December 20th: Jack Talks the Latest on the Berlin Attack and What it Means for Europe

I appear on CNBC Singapore tonight at 6 p.m. est to discuss the recent terrorism attack in Berlin and what it means.  Chancellor Merkel is seeking a fourth term and the ramification of an attack in Berlin could cause her additional problems.  More than 1 million refugees have come to Germany as a result of the war in Iraq and Syria and many are very unhappy.  What are the ramifications?

In addition, I will be discussing the recent assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey and what this means.  The ramifications could be huge and may, strangely, result in the closer relationship between the Turks and the Russians.  The West should be watching this closely and it is unclear whether they are.

This is going to be an interesting conversation.

[KOA Denver] December 20th: Jack Talks Terrorism and Berlin Attack

Just appeared on KOA in Denver with Steffan Tubbs to talk about the recent attack in Berlin. At this point, we know that 12 have been killed and more than 48 have been injured. While an attack isn't certain, this carries all of the signs of ISIS. Its reminiscent of Nice and prior car attacks. Europe is certainly taking a deep breath right now considering that yesterday the Russian Ambassador to Turkey was assassinated by a Turkish cop.

[MSNBC Appearance] Monday, October 4th, Talk on American Vigilance at European Airports

I appear on MSNBC on October 4th at 2:00 p.m. e.t.  The U.S. government has called for increased American vigilance at European airports.  This is apparently tied possible Al Qaida threats.  What does this mean and what kinds of threats are we talking about?  I will appear on MSNBC to talk about what it means and about how legitimate the threats are.

Hope you can catch it.
