About Jack

Jack is really a storyteller, international explorer, and humanitarian and everything else rolls out from there. As a writer, its what he does.  As a trial lawyer, its his most important tool.  As a former CIA officer, the only way to truly motivate people is to connect and to tell them a story that they can feel viscerally.  As a media analyst, what better way to make a point.  In the end, he tries to captivate his audience about the world and its people as much as he himself is captivated.

[Voice of America Intl. Edition] September 6th: Jack Talks How Russian Intel Recruits a President

I appear on Voice of America International Edition on September 6th.  As Robert Mueller and multiple Congressional committees continue to investigate connections between Mr. Trump and the Russians, the story continues to spin. However, as a former CIA officer, I can't help but contemplate how Russian Intelligence absolutely tried to manipulate the election and certainly were attempting to recruit the inner circle of the President elect if not the President elect himself. The evidence is blatantly clear and frankly totally reasonable under the circumstances. This is what intelligence organizations were created to do and the Russians are absolutely no different.

The latest revelation involves Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen's acknowledgement that he was absolutely trying to build a Trump Tower in Moscow as late as January 2016.  Further, the organizations signed a letter of intent and Trump himself was absolutely made aware of these efforts which were extensive.  And yet, Trump himself through the entire campaign specifically denied any connection whatsoever to any dealings except the Miss Universe Pageant. Well, this was, to put it simply, a lie.  So, how does this impact an intelligence organization that is certainly targeting him?

This is going to be a fun interview.
