About Jack

Jack is really a storyteller, international explorer, and humanitarian and everything else rolls out from there. As a writer, its what he does.  As a trial lawyer, its his most important tool.  As a former CIA officer, the only way to truly motivate people is to connect and to tell them a story that they can feel viscerally.  As a media analyst, what better way to make a point.  In the end, he tries to captivate his audience about the world and its people as much as he himself is captivated.

[Russian TV Moscow] March 26th: Jack Talks U.S. Attack in Mosul

I appear on Russian TV Moscow on March 26th at 6 p.m. e.s.t.  On March 17th, the Americans conducted airstrikes on Mosul in support of Iraq ground operations.  Unfortunately, it was subsequetly learned that more than a hundred civilians, maybe two hundred or more, may have been killed.  The Iraqis are claiming it was ISIS but the investigaiton continues.  Regardless, I appear to talk about civilian casualties in warzones.  I saw this in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as in other parts of the world during wars.  Civilians always pay the heaviest price.

This is going to be a tough but interesting conversation.

[Russian TV International] Saturday, June 4th: Jack Talks Sorting Out the Good Guys from the Bad in Syria

What happens when it is hard to tell the good guys from the bad and everybody wants to be the leader? Think Syria. Al Qaida continues to operate and so does ISIL and the Iranians want to fight but so does the Damascus regime and the Russians and the Americans and the Brits and the French. And they all have different agendas. Get the picture? I'm on Russian TV out of Moscow soon to discuss.
