About Jack

Jack is really a storyteller, international explorer, and humanitarian and everything else rolls out from there. As a writer, its what he does. As a international human rights and criminal lawyer and trial skills teacher around the world, its his most important tool. As a former CIA officer, the only way to truly motivate people is to connect and to tell them a story that they can feel viscerally. As a media analyst, what better way to make a point.  In the end, he tries to captivate his audience about the world and its people as much as he himself is captivated.

[MSNBC Appearance] The Ed Schultz Show, Friday, July 2nd: Talk on Law and Russian Spies

I appear on MSNBC's The Ed Schultz Show on Friday, July 2nd at 6:30 p.m. e.t.  With the story involving the alleged Russian spies continues to develop, I will join the program to talk about the intelligence implications and also about the possible criminal charges that they face.  It is strange how this story feels like a throw back to the Cold War.  Pretty wild.

Hope you can watch.

[Thom Hartmann Show Appearance] Friday, July 2nd: Talk on Law and Espionage

I appear on The Thom Hartmann Show on Friday, July 2nd at noon e.t.  Ten Russians have been charged with various charges including spying for the SVR, the organization that replaced the KGB.  However, these people were not diplomats.  These people were known as illegals.  As a result, they do not have diplomatic immunity and could go into U.S. prisons.  Will it happen?

This should be a fun interview.  Hope you can listen.

[KOA Radio Appearance] Wednesday, June 30th: Talk on Law and Russian Spies

I appear on Denver, Colorado based KOA Radio on June 30th at 9 a.m. e.t. The fallout continues to spin regarding the 10 alleged Russian spies who have been scooped up by federal authorities.  Upon closer inspection, this truly feels like a blast from the past.  However, as a former CIA officer, I recall having conversations with other CIA colleagues about what foreign intelligence services would do after the fall of the Berlin Wall.  The shift has frequently turned economic and about international business.  I will join KOA to talk about what it means and the legal ramifications.  As a criminal defense attorney, I will talk about how to defend somebody charged with this.

Hope you can listen.
